Project Scope:

To provide regulation and balancing of the domestic hot water in this luxury building, the Caleffi 116 Series Thermal Balancing Valves were chosen. These were chosen with the aim to maximize both the comfort level, the energy saving and to ensure safety to the final users. The devices automatically control and modulate the domestic hot water flow in each branch/riser in order to ensure hot water constant and quick availability to the final users. This means maximum comfort and efficiency and minimum energy and water consumption.

SERIES 116 THERMAL BALANCING VALVE:

The thermostatic balancing valve is used for automatic balancing of recirculation loops in domestic hot water distribution systems, in order to ensure that all risers and branches of the system reach the required temperature, optimising the use of thermal energy and minimizing the thermal wastes. The thermostatic balancing valve can also be equipped with a by-pass mechanism, to be used in the event of thermal disinfection against Legionella. Caleffi thermostatic balancing valves 116 Series comply with DVGW and WRAS standards for potable water use.
