Introducing the Compact 3-in-1 Caleffi ‘FILTERSTOP’ Ball Valve

The Caleffi FILTERSTOP Ball Valve combines three devices into one, and is complete with integrated filtration.

The FILTERSTOP integrates the functionality of a high-efficiency strainer, isolating ball valves, and a safe maintenance mechanism, within a single, compact device. By reducing the need for multiple components, the FILTERSTOP significantly saves installation space, time and cost, all while delivering  the uncompromised performance, quality and easy maintenance that installers expect from Caleffi products.

 

Filtration & Efficiency

Featuring a fine 160 µm stainless steel mesh and an extra-wide filtering surface, the FILTERSTOP efficiently captures even the smallest particles while maintaining excellent flow rates and minimal pressure loss. The large filtering area promotes even dirt distribution and achieves a Kv of 7.2 m³/h, delivering outstanding hydraulic performance with minimal compromise on flow.

The result is superior system protection, extended component life, and reduced maintenance frequency.

 

Operation & Ease of Maintenance

Servicing the Caleffi FILTERSTOP is quicker, safer and hassle-free compared to traditional methods.

Unlike conventional ball valves with bulky levers, the FILTERSTOP is isolated by simply turning its body, making it easier to install,  operate and service in restricted spaces.

Installers can access the valve from the front and use the full-flow shut-off ball valve to fully isolate water flow. Installers can then remove the filter and perform maintenance without the need to drain the system or fit additional isolation valves.

 

Application Versatility

The FILTERSTOP adapts seamlessly to both closed-circuit systems (heating/cooling systems) and open-circuit systems (domestic water systems):

• In heating and cooling circuits, it protects generators from blockages and improves overall efficiency.
