We are pleased to announce that we are the first CarbonNeutral Company not only in Staffordshire, but also the UK plumbing and heating industry.

At Altecnic we are making a conscious effort to change our ways to make a difference to the environment. As a distributor of plumbing and heating components, we import our products from overseas. We realised that, like every other business, we were having a negative effect on the environment and decided to act. By reducing our emissions, and offsetting the unavoidable, we are no longer making any nett contribution to climate change.

Altecnic is now focusing more and more on the environment, from energy saving and waste minimisation on company site through to our products. Our Commercial Director, Cynthia Fisher said "Our company has a strong focus on energy saving and safety. The products we produce, for instance thermostatic radiator valves, can make domestic and commercial heating systems less wasteful."
