Solar Pump Station - Flo Cal B Twin Line with integral controller

The Solar Pump station contains all the necessary components for the efficient operation of a solar system. The components are all solar rated, and arranged within the insulated package ready to take flow and return connections

As shown in the solar installation schematic diagram, the Flo Cal B Solar Pump Station is position between the solar collector, and the solar cylinder.

The most important feature the Flo Cal B package offers is the integral installation of the Solar Controller. Complete with plug-in connection for the pump, and a pre-wired lead with standard UK spec 3-pin plug, all the electrical connections are made, allowing the installer to wall-mount, make plumbing and expansion tank connections, and then simply 'plug in' to mains supply. Installation is made simple.

Other connections to be made, is the connections for the temperature probes. 2 probes for a basic solar heat only, signified on the controller as arrangement 1, or add a optional third probe for solar heat + additional heat source (for example, an existing or new boiler).

The Flo Cal B contains all the following components:

• Solar Thermal Pump Wilo Star ST20/6
• Flow Meter
• Return flow isolation valve with solar rated non return valve
• Fill/drain valves for filling and flushing operations
• Safety manifold with safety valve and pressure gauge.
• Connection port for the correct connection of an Altecnic solar rated expansion vessel.
• Flow and return thermometers
• Isolation for the pump
• Air Scoop with manual vent
• Wall mounting bracket with fixing screws
• Integral electronic solar controller, with lead with fitted 3 pin plug, and lead for plug in connection for the solar pump
• Solar rated insulation jacket, with removable inspection cover for the flow meter.
